Average temperatures are 27-31 degrees Celsius.

July - September offers the best fishing with low winds and the rainy season is coming to an end. 

April and May can still be a bit windy but is really a nice time of year.

End of December leading into January, the clouds start to dissipate, and the sun can get pretty toasty accompanied by higher winds.

Unlike much of the world, Panama has just two seasons: wet and dry. The dry season or windy season runs from December through April and is referred to as “summer” by the locals. Because Pedasí and the surrounding area have it's own micro-climate and is classed as 'tropical savanna' this region is know as the "arco seco", or the "dry Pacific arc" due to the relatively little rainfall it receives during its summer (January to April) compared to the rest of Panama. 

We can be limited on fishing days due to the summer winds and high temperatures during this time.

The rainy season makes up the rest of the year and will see various levels of storm ranging from scattered hourlong showers to thunderstorms lasting all day. 

The all-day storms are rare and most of the rainy season will see a light shower in the morning or afternoon followed by clear skies for the rest of the day.  

It’s generally accepted that you’re going to get rained on a little bit at some point on a trip during the rainy season (April through mid June) and that it will generally pass quickly. very rarely does the rain last all day.
